- Alesha Davies started AJs Organic Catering in August 2008. Her concern for local food security, supporting farmers on the island, cutting down on the use of disposable catering supplies, and the amazing taste of local, seasonal food was a huge factor in developing this business idea. After a lot of research and help from the Women's Enterprise Centre here in Victoria, Alesha has built up a loyal and expanding client list for whom she delivers this healthy, fresh food. "People want to support local organic food. It just makes sense and tastes so great!" AJs Organic Catering will be expanding into a cafe/catering location in downtown Victoria late in the Summer 2010.
